How To Import Songs From SongSelect

Modified on: Sun, 16 Jul, 2023 at 11:14 AM

As long as you have a subscription with SongSelect through CCLI, you can import song lyrics directly into the EasyWorship song database from their website.

Due to a recent update on the SongSelect website, you are no longer able to import songs from SongSelect directly into your schedule from the New button at the top of EasyWorship. In order to import songs directly into EasyWorship, please use the new SongSelect API located in the Resource Library which is located in the Songs tab toward the bottom of EasyWorship.

If you are using EasyWorship 6 or an older version of EasyWorship, you will need purchase a subscription to EasyWorship 7, to be able to use the SongSelect feature. Here is the link to our pricing page for EasyWorship:

To use this feature, first make sure you are updated to EasyWorship 7.4.1.9. If you have not updated to EasyWorship 7.4.1.9, please update by clicking on Help at the top of EasyWorship, and then click on Check for Updates, or here is a link to download that latest build of EasyWorship:

Please follow these steps to now quickly import songs from SongSelect into EasyWorship:
  1. Open EasyWorship.
  2. In the Songs tab at the bottom of EasyWorship, there is an Online section, and under that, click on SongSelect.
  3. You can search for what song you want to import in the Search bar:
  4. Then click on the song that you want to import and at the bottom-right of EasyWorship, there will be an Import button that you can click on:
  5. Then you can click on the View in Library button, which will take you to the imported song in your EasyWorship song library:

Now you should have the song imported into your song library in EasyWorship for you to use, and you can then drag this into your schedule.
