What shows up on the output screen? This sounds like you do not have the secondary output screen set up for Extended Desktops.
Ensure your slides are set to advance under the Transitions tab: check “Advance Slide” on mouse click or set timing under “After.” In PowerPoint Live (e.g., in Teams), transitions may not work if you're not in full slideshow mode. Always start the presentation using Slide Show > From Beginning and avoid sharing just the PowerPoint window—share your full screen if needed.
